Dr. Loving and eight staff members participated in the MS Walk on April 11th, 2010. They walked together to fight Multiple Sclerosis in honor of their friends, family, and patients.
Dr. Loving and her staff are proud of their commitment
to giving back to their community and to others.
They believe that giving to others is rewarding and fulfilling.
Dr. Loving and her staff members have volunteered for the Smile Mobile
program which is a mobile dental unit that visits underprivileged schools
to provide in-need children with dental care.
Dr. Loving and her staff have enjoyed participating
in the Donated Dental Services programs since 1995.
Through this program they have donated dental services to the needy, disabled, and elderly.
Additionally Dr. Loving actively supports
Smile Train,
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,
Haven For Children, and the
Safi Foundation.
Dr. Loving and her team traveled to Negril, Jamaica for a two-week dental missionary trip with International Smile Power.
They provided dental treatment to a population with no access to dental care since there is only one dentist per 80,000 people.
Dr. Loving has also donated her services to several local women’s homeless shelters.
In 2006 the Loving Dentistry team raised over $10,000 for the implementation and support of water wells in Uganda, Africa.
“We selected this water well project because we believe everyone should have access to a most basic necessity such as water.”
In addition, 6,000 children die each day due to waterborne illnesses.
Each year Dr. Loving and her team enjoy having kindergarten classes visit their office for a field trip to learn about going to the dentist. They also travel to numerous schools to educate children about the importance of taking care of their smiles.
